Location, Detail, Perfection: downtown Yellowknife; from
the kitchen to the bedroom to the bathroom - no detail is
left out and the furnishings are to perfection. You will
never want to leave: jet tub, full-size end-tables and
dresser drawers and a kitchen with a full-size kitchen
table and chairs. Impeccably neat, clean, and tidy:
hardwood floors and ceramic tile. And the fridge is never

good place to stay.It is clean and quiet. the location is so
convinent to all downtown sites. Owner Faith is a very nice
lady.She can tell you a lot of interesting things about
yellowknife and herself.She gave us some advices to help us

OMG! YOu would be hard pressed to find better even in a
hotel! 4 complete modern suites, plus 3 bedrooms w shared
kit/bath/livroom. Clean as a whip and full breakfast to
boot! Owners are extremely accommodating & friendly. I

Fantastic place, best place in YK. I have been staying at Embleton on each on my trips through YK since 2004 (over 12 stays altogether). For just a night, a couple of days or almost a week.
I love the place and I love its owners. It's a perfect place: confortable, quiet, convenient. You can relax or work depending on what you need to to. The self-serve breakfast in very very convenient and when you've experienced high-priced YK you can only appreciate the possibility to cook your own meals for lunch and supper in the shared kitchen in Accomodation A. or in your own in Accomodation B.
Faith and Ken are great, more than helpful - they treat you like family and treat your friends like family.
I've stayed in other YK B&B before 2004, and in some hotels: all are way under Embleton's level of service and confort. And so do many other B&B elswhere in Canada or the UK. Lire moins

Owners Ken and Faith are a delightfully friendly and helpful local Yellowknife couple with a vast knowledge of the area. I took two students from Brazil to Yellowknife in 2011. We stayed at the Embleton House Bed and Breakfast. Wonderful experience! We were on a somewhat 'tight' budget, with the students, and it was so nice that we were able to use the kitchen facilities to make other meals! The beds were so comfortable and Faith and Ken made us feel so welcome! The students loved it! Thank you so very much! We'll be back in 2012! Lire moins

I've stayed there so many times, excellent place, super friendly and perfect location. Faith and Ken really make a difference, being so helpful and all.
It's the best place you could think of when it comes to home away from home.
